How can I burn an existing dvd to a blank dvd-r. It's an intensive writing how to video. I have an XP and my mother thinks I should have Dvd burning software on my computer since it came with a dvd burner. Is there free software out there, do I already have software? Can I drag the files manually??Please, any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

  1. It should have burning software on there. Look for Nero or Roxio under your Programs. There is also a built in XP software but it will be much easier to COPY dvd's using the other. You can also download free dvd burning software from the internet.

  2. dun't listen to him u can't burn it with a match box u need to pour gasoline on it first

  3. AVS DVD Copy copies personal home video in the original quality.

    I download the software from:

Unbiased reviews and side-by-side comparisons of the DVD copy give you enough information to research the ins and outs of a particular product:

Also, you can google some other software:

  4. This software package can do just that:

    Good luck

  5. At least I can answer this part  - if you are planning to play this on a dvd player or you want your computer to play the disk like a dvd player, you can't just drag the file to the disk. Dragging it to the disk will only let you play it on the computer (you have to open the video file like any other file)

You may have software for burning dvds (look for Sonic, Nero or Roxio)

  6. simple........ take a match box and burn it.
