Burning Games That Are Bigger Then 4.7GB?

How would i go about burning a 6,7,8, even 9 GB iso file to a dvd or how do i split it up into 2 dvds or is it even possible to do what im asking. all i want to do is take an ISO thats bigger then 4.7GB and see if i can split it up into 2 or more if i have to parts like how older games took 3-4 CD's if you understand what i mean.

  1. You need

    1) Dual layer burner

    2) Dual layer DVDs

    Dual layer DVDs are can contain 8.5 GB  


  2. If you're just archiving, use 7zip (its a freeware). It can split up bigfiles (.7z file format) then combine it later.

  3. run 7-z

    http://www.7-zip.org/

    click on add then at the bottom of the screen theres an option to split the archive. Pick dvd5 and it will split it to fit on a 4.7 gig dvd blank (actually 4.4 is whats accessible on those kind of disks but anyway that academic)
