Burning Naruto episodes onto a dvd disk?

Ok basically I am a huge fan of Naruto Shipppuuden and I want to burn episodes onto a DVD disk. My questions are as followed:

What software is the ABSOLUTE BEST for burning dvds? (so that if i put it into a dvd player it the audio will match the video, because i have burned dvd before where in some newer dvd players it works fine but, in an older one the audio is like 1-3 seconds ahead)

I used to convert the videos from saiyanisland.com into mp4 and then put them on my ipod and then use my ipod dock to transfer them to the TV. needless to say they came out crappy. PLEASE!!!
