Burning a DVD.How to do it?

I have no problem getting music from a player to a disc but I have never burned a DVD.The movie is located on my c drive in my downloads.Do I right click it and send it somewhere or do I put in the disc first and wait for the window to pop up that asks if want to burn using windows,image burner etc...?I have the image burner program.Is that the proper way to go?I've never used it before.

When you burn files, you need to open the burning software like Nero. Insert your blank dvd and on the windows, just add files to your dvd to be burn.
