Burning a home made film onto a disk?

I am trying to burn a film made on "Windows Movie Maker" onto a re writable DVD disk. It all worked out and i can play the disk on other computers but when i try to play it on dvd players all that comes up is "unknown disk". Is there anything i can do to make it play on dvd players?

  2. You will have to finalise the disc, Windows movie maker will do this for you, find Finalise on the drop down menus or the help menu & finalise it, don't worry, even us experts sometimes forget to do it, good luck.

    1. You need to find a program convert that file into DVD format

    2. you need to make sure that your DVD player can support whatever format you convert to.
