Burning a movie to a dvd-r?

Question

Okay I'm trying to burn "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phieox" to the dvd-r but it says its too large. How do I add it to the dvd-r? Do I need to get another dvd-r? One larger perhaps? I need adivce! All answers excepted!!

You can split your DVD into several smaller chapters, then you can burn it to two DVD, if you don't know how to do that, here is a step by step guide for you
