Question:

Burning a movie with 5.0 surround?

Is it possible to download a movie off the internet that supports 5.0 surround sound. Can you burn it onto a DVD such that it remains 5.0 surround compatible? Of course this is only a hypothetical question; I personally would never commit such travesty...

  1. It certainly is possible.  Look for files that are larger than the standard 700MB, and check the description.  It should state that it has 5.1 sound.

Most converting/burning programs will recognize the 5.1 sound and allow you to create a DVD with it.
