  1. Let's see . . . if I'm getting what you're saying right - you have a CD you want to copy to another CD - right? Well, first, you need a CD/DVD writer (not just a program, but a device that you have to install into your computer, it looks something like this: http://www.tech2.com/media/images/img_40... ). You can get one installed from a place like Best Buy - that's where I got mine installed. After this, the drive should be good to go.

Now, the steps for burning an actual CD: You need to make sure you have  some music files on hand. In your case, the music files would be on the original CD. So, you would rip the files from that CD (ripping means to copy music files, not actually taking them away from the CD permanently). Look for some kind of option like that in your Roxio program. Once they are successfully ripped, they are usually automatically saved into your default Music Folder. Make sure you have a writable CD inserted into the burner (E:) drive. From here, you should be able to activate the ripped files from the Roxio program, where you should see some kind of option that lets you burn the contents onto you blank CD. Then you just have to sit and wait for the burning process to complete!

In my case, I find that using Windows Media Player to burn music files works just fine. Most people use Windows to play music anyways, so I'm guessing you have it also. Follow the directions exactly as stated above, that is, go to the Rip panel, select the songs you want to rip, insert you writable CD, go over to the Burn Panel, and click burn. I don't know how other people's CD/DVD writers work, but I can also burn music files by simply copying and pasting the files I want into the E:Drive. From here, I just go to Files>Write temporary files to CD>and click OK.

Also, when writing any kind of files, make sure you have as few programs and windows opened as possible. The less programs you have, the smoother the process goes, resulting in higher-quality writing. I hope this helps! 2. You put in your blank CD in the DVD/CD drive. Then you put whatever that you want on it like music or pictures. CD/DVD

Find the files you want to copy to the CD.

Some Cd's/DVDs are rewritable some are non rewritable.

That means you can only use the disk once[non rewritable]

That means you can use the disk over and over[rewritable]

Any more questions I would be glad to help just ask
