Burning music on CD's?

Question

Someone said that if you burn music on a typical CD-R 80 min disk, it has a limited life span. I don't believe it...is it true. I thought your music was indefinite. Please let me know! Thanks

it depends on how durable the disc is, and the material coating on the bottem layer of the cd, it can very but for the most part you'll have at least 10 years

The music will remain on the disc forever. Just don't scratch up the disc. I recommend legal music (iTunes) bought songs to burn on CD. The only Limited Life Span would be scratching up the disc.
