  1. Most burning software, such as Roxio and Magic Disk, happen to miscalculate the time emmediatley after giving the command. It will most likely not take that amount that was specified originaly. For example, I burnt 250 Mb to a cd and it said that it would take an 1 1/2 hours, which quickly turned into 5 minutes. It also depends on how much you're burning. The whole 10 Gb will most probably take more than an hour.

About your other question: you have to keep in mind that it depends what you want to play your music on. not many cd players support dvd's. If you're using it to transfer from one computer to another computer, or if you're just using it to hold the music, it should work.

  2. I dont think you can burn music ( as in CD ) and get it to play on DVD disk... at least i dont think you can get too far as to burn in on DVD.

You can store it as a file on DVD disk... and if your lucky enough to have a music player, home or computer or even a car stereo, that recognizes and plays mp3 files, that would be your best bet, I believe. but being that it's a DVD disk... I don't think it could be possible. it doesn't hurt to try.

  3. as far as I know it will only play on other PC's that read dvd discs. but as far as in your car stereo... no it will not recognize the DVD format.
