Burning music to a dvd?

can you burn music to a dvd? they have so much more memory than a normal cd and i want to back up my library... which is huge. i dont wanna buy that many cds.

  1. Yes you can as long as you have a CD/DVD drive. You just burn a bigger file.

    Nothing wrong with buying that many CDs as they only cost about $5 for 20 or so

    The other alternative is to back your music library up onto an external desktop 300GB Hard drive or Terabyte hard drive.

    If you use iTunes just go>File>Back up to Disk> and go from there.

  3. get a flash drive or memory stick. its bigger and cheaper.

  4. no you cant. dvds are for high quality, abnormal file formats. i would get cd r-ws, or i would get a flash drive. they hold a lot and arent that much money.
