Burning sensation in lower abdomen?

does anyone know what it could be..it feels like a weird burning in my lower stomach! Then I can feel it up in my throat..

  1. it sounds like heartburn... could be an ulcer.  Try an h2 blocker - tagament, pepcid or even tums..... if it doesnt help in like a week, i would see a doctor.

  3. I'd say heartburn but usually you feel a burning sensation in the middle or upper stomach. Food regurgitates back up into the esophagus then the throat and further causes a burning sensation. But you have pain in your lower abdomen. Possibly two separate issues are causing you distress. You could have gas or an ulcer which could cause pain in the lower or middle stomach. It's usually relieved by food and made worse by stress. Or it could be gas. Since you feel it in your throat, though, I would try some zantac over the counter. If that does't work, you should see your Doctor. If you can't or don't want to, try some gas-X if the zantac doesn't relieve your symptoms over a few days. Good luck.
