Burning stuff with fire. I need some ideas?

I am looking for something fun to burn that will make a cool trick, but is simple to make and do. Any ideas anyone?

Try plain steel wool.  Do not use steel wool that has detergent in it.  Separate the layers, or unroll it.  Light one end and watch the cool effects.  No gasoline needed!

You can also try sprinkling powdered non-dairy creamer over an open flame.  Poof!

Even better, poke a hole in the ping pong ball, fill it with gas and put it on the end of a stick or something, then light it with a long lighter.  KABOOM!

Anything plastic is fun to burn.  Just don't breathe it.

Try a ping-pong ball.  Its high surface area to volume ratio makes it burn very rapidly.

I know lots of stuff to burn... magnesium strips/powder burns at, holy c**p, 8,000 degrees! And it is blindingly bright (key word: blindingly.). filings from different metals burn different colors. Copper is green and so is lead. If you don't have any metal sources, burn rubber. In your house. Makes a wonderful lingering ummm... fragrance.
