Burnpark Brave dominant in the Chadwell Heath Residents Association Trophy at Romford
Romford will become home for the Chadwell Heath Residents Association Trophy over 400 metres on Friday, 13th April. The £175 race will get contested by Johnny Dash, Trappers Corner, Bonnan Bui, Burnpark Brave, Guinness Magic and Murlens Houdini.
The most rigorously trained hound on the line-up is Burnpark Brave, Balintore Brave’s three-year-old black dog out of b***h, Burnpark Kay. His starting of the season was marked by getting drilled over 462 metres on 5th January at Yarmouth. He was done racing through the track in 28.98 seconds.
Burnpark Brave won his seasonal debut by racing through a 277 metres track at Yarmouth in 16.69 seconds on 9th January. He led the runner up of the race, Allen Thunder, by three lengths.
His next two races resulted in failures, a fourth and then a third position.
On 14th January, in the Stadium Bookmakers Sprint at Yarmouth, Burnpark Brave ended fourth over 277 metres.
The race was won by Blackstone Bob who timed the distance in 16.65 seconds and led the runner up of the race, Dual Control, by a short head’s distance.
The 5/2 favourite of the race, Rockburst Fanta, leapt onto the third position after the winner.
He then came third in the Romforddogs.Com Sprint on 27th January at Romford over 225 metres after taking 13.91 seconds. The winner of the race was Hercules.
The trainer, E. Samuels, thought better of it and trained the three-year-old thrice in a row at Yarmouth, first over 277 metres and then twice over 462 metres.
Burnpark Brave then won the Romford Stadium Standard on 16th March at Romford over 400 metres. He reached the other end of the wire in 24.47 seconds and was in charge of the final six and a half lengths of the race.
The 3/1 collective favourites, Dooey Maeve, Romeo Colarado and Airforce Cougar finished the race second, third and fifth.
He then scored second in the Coral Romford Standard on 23rd March at Romford over 400 metres. It took him 24.55 seconds to settle the race while the winner was Trevi You Go.
His last try till yet was in the Philip Giles 9th Birthday Stakes at Romford over 400 metres on 30th March. He timed the track distance 24.38 seconds.
He has high chances of bagging the third victory of the season tonight.
