Burnpark Sparky defies betting decision with his upset
Burnpark Sparky was the hero of November 12 night at Nottingham as the A. Stone trained black dog marvellously and unexpectedly won the Stadium Bookmakers 480m Gents Trophy Final worth £500.
The bookmakers were extremely surprised to see the results of the high-profile open race as their hot favourite candidate, Swift Frogma, finished as down as 6th.

David Pruhs’ Frisby Barney fought very well, but finished second with a different of four seconds. L. Cook’s Dromana Max narrowly missed the runner-up position and stood third by a head’s margin.
Thus, there was witnessed a great fight among the three toppers. Everybody was spellbound to have watched the nerve-rending contest.
Orlandos Court finished 4th in the race while Corduff Star and the favourite runner stood 5th and 6th respectively.
That victory proved to be a big breakthrough in Burnpark Sparky’s career. It was his second OR triumph in a row.
In the month of October, the son of Balintore Brave out of Burnpark Kay won www.betfred.com Stakes along with an A1 race.
Before turning to the final game, he had won the opening Heat of the tournament by beating the favourite candidate, Frisby Barney, narrowly.
The glorious title Gents Trophy has added great value to Burnpark Sparky’s profile. It is expected that he will earn some favourite tags and triumphs in the weeks to come. This is a good news for Stone.
