  1. put half an inch of bleach in ,then top it up with boiling water ,let it soak overnight then give it a good scrub saturday afternoon.

  2. Someone told me that if you boil regular coke then it cleans pans but I've not tried it yet so dunno if it works.

  3. Cook some potatoes in it and toss the potatoes after they have cleaned out the pan.

  4. toothpaste mix it with a litte water everyting will come off also works on irons

  5. I'm terrible about burning food to the bottom of my pots!

Scrape out as much as you can, fill the pan up with hot water and add 1/4 cup baking soda.  Leave to sit over night.  If that doesn't do the full trick, try boiling the water and baking soda in the pan for around 15 minutes, soak until cool and it will normally clean out fine.

You may be required to provide some elbow grease, too.

    Good luck!

  6. soak it in some hot water (or boil some) like the other person said.  Then just scrub away.  If it's still stuck then I would just buy a new one.

  7. If its a teflon coated (non-stick) pan just cover the stuck rice with warm oapy water and leave overnight, then scrape off with a plastic spatula...   You could also try putting vinegar in the water.

Same will work for a metal bottom pan, but you can then scrape burnt residue once its softened with a metal spatula.

  8. Well, that happened to me once and i used Mr Muscle oven cleaner........ scrubbed it with a metal sponge and it worked!!!!

  9. leave it over night in water and salt solution then use a brillo pad

  10. Go to www.ehow.com/

Tells you how to do just about everything !

  11. throw it away thats what i do

  12. Scrape off as much as possible, then put a lot of salt on it and let it work in. This will make it much easier to clean off tomorrow.

  13. leave it to soak in warm water and washing up liquid and be prepared to have a scrub at it tomorrow, but most of should have lifted off after soaking.

I always put my pans in water after cooking if there is anything slightly burnt on

  14. Boil some water in the pan, and scrape it after it's been in a rolling boil for at least 10 mins.  Repeat until it's all gone, and finish with a brillo pad if needed.

  15. Leave it to soak overnight and it'll all come off easily in the morning.

  16. you don't have to go to all the trouble that others are quoting, just leave it on the counter till it completely dries out and then all you have to do is peel it off.

    cheers

  17. SOAK IT or for an urgent solution oven cleaner and a brillo

  18. Scrub it and if that fails get a new pan their only a few quid

  19. I'm afraid the best solution is TIME. You just have to soak the pan in water, simmer the water, cover with a lid and hope the steam works all the sticky crust off fast. Scraping with a ametal spoon helps, but it could damage the surface of the pan.

  20. either boil up white vinigar and water in it , or a cooking apple , then leave overnight , problem solved .good luck

  21. soak the pan

  22. Try some Fairy Power Spray.  I discovered this a few months ago, and I usually have to use it after the other half has been cooking.  Just spray on and leave for a wee while, then wash as usual.

  23. soak in boiling water from the kettle then use a brillo pad,or if it's non stick a plastic brush

  24. mix some biological washing powder with warm water and put in the pan.  leave to soak for a while.  That should get the burnt food off

  25. buy a new one , bleach it , paint thinner , soak it in sumting for a day then scrub!

  26. i normally sprinkle about half a cup of washing powder and then fill pan with cold water.  leave overnight.  that normally does the trick.  or that flash spray for dishes is really really good

  27. If it's really burnt try EASY OFF!  Spray it and leave it on some newspaper in your garage for a few hours.  It will come right off.

  28. Cover with water,Bring to the boil then simmer gently,

  29. H i there. My husband is always burning the pans ans I have found the best way to treat it is put quite a strong mixture of bleach and water in the bottom and leave it over night. You will just be able to scrape off in the morning.Never fails.Good luck

  30. Get down to Asda and look for some L-bo Grease, it really works!

  31. Put some washing up liquid in the pan and fill with hot water then put on the hob to boil.  That should do it!
