how do burrowing owl's survive in the desert?

detailed explanation would be really nice, also any webs would be good too!

Burrowing owls feed on desert insects and spiders. They need very little moisture. They can keep themselves cool by flapping their wings- THIS IS ALL THAT I KNOW!
