Bursitis elbow? / cyst?

my elderly mother took a fall and doctor told her she has a bursistis cycst and they dont like the drain them.. now its been 3 months and its getting worse... huge! like a softballl. painfull, warm ect... anyone ever had one is it possible to be drained or was this docotor just to lazy to it? help me please im completely illeterate to medical stuff...

I had a friend with the same problem. His doctor finally drained the cyst and it stopped coming back. The doctors don't like to drain them because it can cause the area to become infected which is worse than having the cyst. It took 6 months for the one on my knee to disappear. I used ice cubes to give myself an ice massage when it hurt due to the swelling.

It is very possible to drain them although some need surgery. Get a new doctor, if it is this bad and nothing is being done you need one.
