Burton Cartels?

I am thinking about getting these bindings, but am wondering about the forward lean. I know you can adjust it, but can anyone tell me how much forward lean it has when adjusted to having as little forward lean as it can?

  1. You're comparing a flexible binding with a Cartel?  Cartels aren't exactly supposed to be that flexible.  If you want flex around the Cartel level, it's the Missions.  I thought better of you PSS worker, I've bought from you before.  As for the toe strap, I prefer the cap straps, so there ya go.  You can also buy/convert your toes into toe straps.

However, Ride seems to be churning out some decent binders this season, so don't completely count them out yet.

From what I've seen, with no lean, it's about the same as any other binding, but you don't get as much out of it with forward lean as let's say with the older latch kind.  It's best to just go to a shop and check them out yourself.  Anyways, the forward lean should be fine.  I've never seen anybody crank it all the way forward, so the lean the Cartels provide should be enough.

  2. i would go for some new ride bindings like the delta's or something there far better and they have an adjustable toe strap, there all around a better binding I've been riding with them for 3 years and there the lightest most flexible out there.

  3. OK dude. Don't listen to these guys.

I recently bought the 08 cartels in the "winter mismatch" color. They are the sickest sickest bindings ever. They have a positive 3 degree's forward lean build into them, but its so minimal you wont even notice, the new high back is super flexy and just awesome, they conform to your calf. They are awesome for park and awesome for all mountain. If you like to nose and tail press stuff, you will love the feeling of these bindings. No joke 1st day using these i was pressing this box that had been giving me trouble all season.  They are really really cushy, like pillow and you can rock em super tight for that big big booter, or loosen em up a bit for that kink rail.  The padding on the gas petal is so sick and the color is just the nicest setup of colors on bindings i have seen this year.  I rode bindings with 0 forward lean before these and it took me like 2 runs to get used to it. If you have a size 10.5 or over foot get the large size, and they also have these on sale right now @ zumiez.  I have friends that ride Rome targas, k2 autos and the high and ride and flow bindings, i let them all try out the new cartels and they all wish they had bought the cartels. You cant go wrong dude. GOOD LUCK HAPPY SHREDDING

  4. if you are talking about this years cartels with the team skyback 2 than cartels have forward lean built in enough to make you bend your knees, but not so much that it hurts. other year cartels have a extremely high highback so they have more forward lean. I have ridden cartels for a few years now and this years with the dial F.L.A.D. give the least about of forward lean
