Burton custom good for a female?

Question

I just bought a Burton Custom-- 148 snowboard. The guys at the shop convinced me it was the board for me, of course. But I still have doubts as to whether they overestimated my snowboarding ability etc.

I am 5'6 125lbs, intermediate rider and planning to ride in the park and down the mountain equally.

Isn't this board made for guys? Is it alot stiffer /heavier/whatever than a female board for the same style rider?

Are there any females out there that ride a custom?

The custom should be fine for you.  Its such a versatile board. It will work perfect for all mountain and park. It may be a little bit heavier than a womens 148.  BUT it will make up for the weight, IN POP and STRENGH. This BOARD WILL LAST YOU FOREVER. So dont sweat it,. Get out to the park and show the guys up on the custom, HAPPY SHREDDING !!!
