Burton dom or rome label?

Question

im getting a burton dom or a rome label. which one is better? im 5'3, 100 lbs and a size 8-91/2 foot. would a size 146 fit or would a size 150 be better? also is a rome label 145 nice too? any feeback is nice, thanks

Both are entry level boards, both are twins with the stance centered(ideal for freestyle) and both are from good companies.  they are also in the same price range.  

standard rule of thumb is to have a board that comes up to your chin.  go shorter if you do more tricks; park riding.  if you plan to do more all mountain riding go a bit longer.  

if its a toss up, then go with the board with the cooler graphics.

this is a good time to buy cause of all the end of season sales.

i am a big burton fan but like I said they are both good companies and the specs on both boards are about the same. shop around for the best price.

i say the Burton dom i have one its love. my friend works for rome so ive sampled boards like the label and they just don't compare. i would go with a 150 so you can grow in to it and you wont have to spend more money than necessary..

Like the guy above me said, theyre basically the same board. I'm 5 feet and a 142 goes up to my chin, so you'd probibly be a 148 or 150. Rome has nice boards, unless you want a shorter board for terrain, I'd go a bit bigger than a 145. I personally love the burton dom. Its a nice ride and the graphics are good too. If you want burton dom you can get one for all mountain purpose, or one for terrain, its the burton dominant slick. Theyre practically the same thing, but the dominant slick specializes in terrain. good luck, i hope i helped.

Yeah i'd say 150 ish.

But i'd go with rome.  Where i live, Rome boards are generally easier to buy and a bit cheaper (not much)
