Bury Parade tipped for success in Solway Holiday Village Beginners´ Chase
Bury Parade will enjoy the soft track conditions at Carlisle during the Solway Holiday Village Beginners´ Chase in England on Thursday, October 25, 2012. A victory in the class-4 event will earn him a cash prize of £3,054 in the end.
A total of 10 runners have been attracted towards the 2 mile long event, which is scheduled to start at 17:00 GMT. All of the participants will have to be careful because of the conditions, as there is a high risk of injury on a rain affected ground.
Due to this, some of the stallions might not take part in the race. However, there is still plenty of time before start of action, so the situation may improve to some extent.
No matter what the circumstances are, the bookmakers believe that Super Duty will be able to walk away with a comfortable victory in the end. Therefore, he has been given the highest odds for victory.
The Irish runner has got a very good record, thus it seems to be a very good idea to risk the maximum number of bets in his favour. However, the rain affected track will not suit his running style and he will struggle to some extent compared to others.
Despite that, his fans will be hoping that he steals the show today. The Donald McCain’s trainee has participated in six races until now, winning four of them whereas finished as a runner up once. There was only one occasion, where he failed to finish in
the top-three.
On the other hand, Bury Parade has mostly done well in rain affected races. He has won three races in his career and all of those came on either soft or a heavy ground. This goes onto show that he will definitely be in contention of a solid finish at Carlisle.
Overall, the six-year-old gelding has participated in seven events and his performances in them have been really good. He was unable to make a strong impression last time around though, as he ended up fourth out of eight runners.
The Robert Bewley’s trainee will be looking to make an improvement this time around and his partner today will be Henry Brooke.
