  1. Go to Penn Station, you'll find the Jersey Transit which can take you to the Newport Mall Area. Or even better: hop on a taxi near the Holland Tunnel. The Newport Mall is VERY close to the Holland Tunnel and busses/trains don't usually go through in that direction. The taxi shouldn't be that expensive since the mall in directly outside the tunnel. However, I do suggest u go to the Woodbridge Mall which u can get to by using the Jersey Transit at penn station which has wayy more stores than Newport. Good luck and feel free to contact me if u need to!!

  2. take the path its better faster and cheaper..

  3. Take the Path!

    So much easier and faster!

  4. PATH train is much better and cheaper.

    PATH train is $1.75.

Daily Weekday Journal Sq-bound train and Weekend Journal Sq via Hoboken pick you up at 33rd St-6th Av, 23rd St, 14th St, 9th St, Christopher St and next stop is Pavonia Newport Centre/Mall.

From World Trade Center, transfer require at Grove St or Journal Sq to 33rd St train, well as Hoboken train on Weekdays.

  5. There are no buses from NYC that go to th Newport Center Mall

As mentioned take PATH.  The cost is only $1.75 one way and takes about 13 minutes (weekdays), 19 minutes on weekends.

You can get PATH at 33rd St/6th AV/Broadway (under the Manhattan Mall) or on 6th Av at 23rd St, 14th St, 9th St and on Christopher St off Greenwich St.

Take a Journal Square bound train (JSQ) to the Pavonia/Newport station.

You can also get PATH at the WTC site in lower Manhattan.  There take a Hoboken bound train (HOB) to Pavonia  (weekdays).  On weekends take a Newark bound train (NWK) to Grove St and transfer across the platform for a 33rd St bound train to Pavonia.

PATH does accept the MetroCard (regular not unlimited) and will deduct $1.75 as the fare.  There is no free transfer between the NYC subway and PATH.
