Hello! I am going to be arriving in Edinburgh (EDI) on Tuesday at around 7:30am, and I need to find the cheapest way to get to my hostel on High Street. What bus or whatever (besides the expensive cab) should I use? Thanks!! Also, what would be the cheapest way back to the airport on Thursday morning?

  1. There is the airlink bus but it does not drop you off at the High St (which is part of the Royal Mile). The airlink will drop you off at Princes St and the Royal Mile is about 10 minutes walk away over the North Bridge - just ask someone and they will direct you.

There is also a taxi bus which takes you door to door but it is a bit more expensive - the Edinburgh Shuttle .

  2. Airport Bus Cheapest in town , 2011 you catch a Tram Ya ?

  3. See here. Get the bus to Waverley Bridge (Terminus) & walk up to the High St. 2 minutes walk.
