Bus from Panama City to Changuinola?

About the bus from Albrook Bus Terminal to Changuinola (stopping in Almirante)...What time does this bus depart from Panama City? I land in Panama City at 7PM, and I need to get through Customs and to the bus terminal in time to catch the bus to Changuinola (to get to Almirante for the water taxi to Bocas). I have seen info that this bus leaves at 8, 9, or 10PM. Which one is it? Any info would be wonderful!!

You can't get there from here.

You will have to go to David first.

Then from the David bus terminal, you will get the bus to Changuinola.  

The buses to David leave every hour but stop at ten p.m.  

It is a long, long ride...about 7 hours, sometimes 8. The buses have toilets, but don't drink a lot of water. They stop once in Santiago.

At the David bus station you will take the bus to Changuinola.

The bus stops first in Almirante and you can get a taxi from that bus station to the water taxi to Bocas.

So you really don't need to go to Changuinola, get your ticket to Almirante and save a few dollars.

Your first problem, though is getting from the airport PTY, to the Allbrook Terminal.  That taxi ride takes you from the eastern most part of Panama City to almost the western most part and will cost you minimum of $30 bucks.  It's $25 just to go to the center of town and then two more to go from there to Allbrook.  

When you clear customs and immigration, you will be on the ground floor. If you go up the escalator to the drop off floor, you can find a taxi who has just dropped off a person and will be going back to the city empty. They will usually give you a deal.

That first answer you got is total BS.  Just like anywhere, keep your eye on your stuff, but Panama is the safest place in Central America and the people are very friendly and eager to help.

ok i have no clue how to answer anyhing you have ther so ill just tell you this i live in panama and be carfull with the people here they want to give you like trick, etc to make you pay more since your a "gringo" in other words for panamanian dum american. the samething happend to me when i got here, oh and theres been a lot of crime oftenly iv been atching the news but crime to tourists, etc hey dont accept any pieces of paper they give you or anything all of them have a special drug that when you touch it it will make you fall asleep inmidiatly and theyl steel everything you  have ehh lets see the security here ain the best... hope you have a nice stay oh and ovorall the land and geografy in panama is georgus, beutiful, but i wish the people woud be as good as that the people here arent that honest, but there are some nice and good people here hey any questions about tourisims resorts and places to stay and visit please contact me i would be glad to help you
