Hi i was just wondering if there are buses that can get you from UBC to the city of Vancouver...for example if i wanted to get to BC Place or major shops and clubs/restaurants in the heart of the city. If there are, how many buses would it take? and how much would it cost approx.?

Thanks for all your help!

  1. There is a large bus loop at ubc. With many routes to Vancouver  call 604 953 3333

  2. Take Bus 41

it goes to and from UBC

    it cost

    $1.75 for 1 zone

    $2.50 for 2 zone

and UBC is in vancouver so you pay $1.75

Take the bus 41 from UBC all the way to the last stop which is Joyce Station. Go on the skytrain going towards burnaby

You will pass Patterson Station then get to Metrotown Station

get off at Metrotown and go inside the mall =]

Metrotown, is basically the biggest mall in burnaby

hope I helped and good luck!

( btw you can use the same ticket that you used on the bus on the skytrain and they rarely check your ticket for the skytrain anyways)

  3. the 4, 9, 17, 25, 41, 43, 44, 49, 84, 99, 258, and 480 all go to and from the UBC bus loop. the 17 will take you into the center of downtown, to streets like robson and granville.

  4. There are loads of bus lines that lead to UBC. From where I commuted in downtown before, it takes 2 transfers and costs $2.25 for an adult and $1.75 for a person under 14. If you set off from a place near walking distance to the central station at burrard, it would take 1 transfer. Note: I highly suggest you don't commute unless it involves mostly riding the skytrain. s***w the coast mountain bus company for hiking rates...
