  1. go to travelocity.com... maybe they have those places

  2. There is no bus. Buses run only from Gera, Leipzig or Dresden to Prag.

    http://www.bei.cz

http://www.touring.de (pretend to book a ticket to get at the schedule)

If you need to travel cheap, buy a Thueringen-Ticket. Thueringen-Ticket allows you to travel an unlimited distance within Thueringen, Saxony an Saxon-Anhalt on regional trains (RB, RE and IRE)after 9 am on weekdays (or after midnight on weekends) to 3 am the next day to for 18 EUR.

    Map where Thuringen-Ticket is valid:

Use http://www.bahn.de to find your connections. Select no EC/IC/ICE and pick a connection. Go to the border and buy your Czech train ticket there or from the conductor. (You'll need Czech Kronas for this.) This is cheaper than an international ticket from Weimar to Prague.

http://www.jizdenka.cz  can tell you how much you need to pay depending upon where you cross the border. (Gr) indicates a border crossing. I think the best connection is

Weimar-Zwickau-Frantiskovy Lazne-Praha leaving Weimar at 9:06 hrs, arriving 17:45 in Prague. To the border the cost is 18 EUR and from the border it is 192 CK, less than 8 EUR.

You can also select "no ICE", in this case you'll get connections going via Dresden and an EC train from Dresden to Prague. The fare for this EC train from Dresden is approx. 26 EUR one-way but saves you about 2 hours of travel.

Another possible option is for you to look on http://www.mitfahrzentrale.de - it is a ride-sharing service. You email or call a person offering people a ride. They give you a lift and you pay a little fee for gas. If you cannot find a ride to Prague, check for rides to Gera, Leipzig, Dresden or cities with rail connection close to the Czech border so that you can connect to Prague with bus or train.

  3. There are not much buslines in Germany.

This one I have found, but it starts in Dresden.

Try to get a special price by railway.

    Greetings Hamburg, Germany

  4. I don't know if there is a bus connection between both. Maybe you should go for the train instead...at least if it's not right now that they are on strike.

Just type in your dates and the cities at www.bahn.de

It gives you connections and prices...you'd have to change trains at least once though.
