there isn't one. Are you staying at a hotel or with friends? If at a hotel, ask about airport limo's. (they take tyou to and from the airport for little or no charge). If at a friends, get them to come pick you up and meet you are passenger pickup outside your airline. I was wrong, they have Metro but I couldn't give you the schedule but I believe you would have to switch buses several times to make it out to katy. Look at renting a car, quick and easy that way too.

There's an airport shuttle that will take you to that big hotel at I-10 & Hwy 6, that's not too far from Katy. I think it costs about 30.00 for a round trip. That's probably less than a cab.

The best way is to have a friend pick you up, take a cab, or the shuttle to the hotel in Katy and then a cab to your destination, or rent a car.  The Metro bus ride can be done, but it's long and the weather is very hot and humid right now.

We do have a bus system in Houston that might get you close to your destination. Let's see what I can do here:

You'll have to take a local bus and a commuter bus. The 102 bus goes from Intercontinental Airport to downtown Houston. Exit at the Milam @ Preston stop.  Request a transfer from the driver when you disembark.

Walk one block west to the corner of Louisiana @ Preston.

Catch the 229 bus to its last stop, the Kingsland Park and Ride center. It is on the Katy Freeway (Interstate 10 West), near Katy Mills Mall. Anyone who lives in Katy should be able to find it, seeing as it is right off the freeway at a major exit.

Here's the bad part. It will take TWO HOURS.

It is easier to have a friend or relative pick you up, or, if you want to spend $60-70 take a cab.
