Bus maps and rates for Puerto Vallarta?

Does anyone have a link to bus maps and fares/rates for the city buses in Puerto Vallarta. Would you recommend buses as a form of inexpensive transportation from the airport if I have two suitcases? Would there be room?

Bus fare is 5.50 pesos.  The blue and white buses go from the airport to downtown Vallarta.  If you have 2 suitcases I would recommend that you take a taxi from the airport.  Once you're at your hotel than you can take a bus.  Taxis are relatively expensive if you use them all the time.  Blue and white buses are the safest to take.  The green buses go to outlying areas.  The destinations are usually written on the front windshield of the buses or you can ask the driver or just about anybody what bus to take.

Just take a taxi,  money is made to be spent.

If you have no money, take the bus or walk.

The bus fare to almost anywhere in Vallarta is now 5 pesos. Your suitcases would fit but make sure you hang on tight. You can take your 2 suitcases on the bus right outside the terminal, or cross the street on the overhead crosswalk to catch a regular cab to almost anywhere in the city for about 100 pesos depending on where you are going. The taxis at the airport at fixed at $220, but ONLY from the airport where thay have an exclusive permit.
