Bus service in Murrieta/Temecula California?

Does anyone know if there are any plans to improve bus service in Murrieta or Temecula, California?

The one bus that serves both cities only runs until 5:00pm or so and only once every hour and fifteen minutes.

Many people who live in the Temecula Valley commute to Orange County and San Diego County, but there are no express buses to those destinations.

When will we see improvements?
