Question:

Bus travel advice?

I am writing a formal letter of complaint to RH Transport and I thought I could just have a hint of advice and small help.

I live in Barnsley in Oxfordshire and there are only 4 buses that come everyday.

There used to be 12 each day but I didn't move to Barnsley then.

In what way do you think that I could persuade RH Transport Company to get more buses round to various places in my external environment because there aren't that many.

And there are only two buses that go to Swindon only on Saturdays which I think is bang out of order.

I am starting off as:

Dear RH Transport Services

This is a formal letter of complaint about the small amount of buses per route every day.

What else could I put to make it sound demanding as this is very important?

Any other suggestions?

That would be very helpful!

  1. The bus company will not be able to justify adding extra buses to the route for your personal convenience - it would be cheaper for them to hire you a taxi to take you everywhere you want to go - (perhaps you could suggest this as a possible solution).

You either need to get a large number of like-minded travellers and create a petition type thing or alternatively write to your local council who will no doubt have some inflence on the provision of local public transport.
