  1. Alpengeist is the best roller coaster ever made followed by the Apollos Chariot.

  2. Busch Gardens Europe only has 5 coasters, Loch Ness Monster, Big Bad Wolf, Alpengeist, Apollo's Chariot, and their newest coaster, Griffon.

The best starter coasters are Loch Ness Monster and Big Bad Wolf.  BBW has no loops, and only 2 hills, but their not that bad.  It's mostly twists and turns.  LNM has two major hills and two interlocking loops, and a pretty cool tunnel.  Both are good coasters, and great for first time riders.

Alpengeist is full of lots of twists and loops.  I'd hold off on this one unless you really get the nerves to ride it.  It's a great coaster, don't get me wrong, but if you're scared, skip it.

Apollo's Chariot is one of the best coasters I've ever been on.  It's smooth, no loops, but lots of hills and great air time.  Basically, you literally feel like you're flying through the air on a chariot.

And their newest coaster, Griffon, is a sweeeeeet coaster.  It's a dive machine, which means it's first hill, the train stops and dangles you over the edge for about 3-5 seconds, before releasing you into the first of two inversions.  It's a great coaster, very smooth, only 2 loops, and there's a cool water splash at the end.

Other rides at the park include their water rides, Roman Rapids (a raft style water ride, you'll get soaked), the log flume, and Escape from Pompeii (a chute-the-chutes indoor water ride).  I've never been on Roman Rapids, but I've been on other rides just like it.  They're fun but you get really soaked since you end up under waterfalls.  The log flume is just like any other log flume, a few hills and you get a little wet.  My favorite is Escape from Pompeii.  Your on the raft, it goes up the hill, into the building.  You basically ride through the ruins of Pompeii, escaping from Mt. Vesuvius' eruption.  There's fire and stuff falling around you, then the doors open and  you drop down the hill into the water.  A quick ride, but a lot of fun.  You'll get wet, but it's not too bad.

Other cool rides include the two 4D rides, Curse of Darkastle and Corkscrew Hill.  I like Curse of Darkastle better over Corkscrew Hill, but they're both fun.  Corkscrew Hill, your seats move to imitate scenes in the video, Curse of Darkastle, you're in a sled that's going through a castle.  There's twists and turns and lots of 4D stuff coming at you.

While you're there, take in some shows.  My favorite is the Irish Dancers at the Abbey Stone Theatre.  If you like River Dance, you'll like this.  Plus, the theatre is air conditioned.  There's also Secrets of Castle O'Sullivan.  It's more of a kid show, but it's cute...and air conditioned.  If you like stupid pet tricks, check out Pet Shenanigans.  At the front of the park is the Pirates 4D show.  It's cheesy, but cute.  Leslie Nielson is in it.  Need I say more?

If you plan on eating at the park, my favorite is Trapper's Smokehouse.  If you like BBQ, eat here.  About $18 will get you a half BBQ chicken dinner with waffle fries, a role, a side, and a drink.  If you like german food, check out Das Fest Haus (you can even catch a show while you're eating there!!).  There's also regular Italian food in Festa Italia (again, you can catch a show there too).

Check out Busch's website here for a dining certificate that you can pre-purchase.  Depending on which one you buy, it can save you quite a few bucks when it comes to eating.

    Have fun at the park!!!

  3. I'm just the same. I just went to Busch Gardens Europe 2 weeks ago and rode my first roller coaster ever.

There is a slight problem, though. All of the coasters have hills and most have loops. So it's not going to be easy for you. I'd suggest the Big Bad Wolf first. It's the best one for what you'd probably prefer. Also, the Loch Ness Monster. I didn't go on it, only because we just got off BBW and just ate something (I didn't want anything to come back up). But everybody says it's awesome. There is hills and loops, but the major hill is the first one so it'll be done quicker. And the loops aren't all that bad. My dad says you don't even know you're in one if you keep looking forward. Try those first and if you want to ride the others(Apollo's Chariot, Alpengeist, and newly added Griffon) go ahead and try them. Have fun!

If you'd like more info on rides and the park, go to buschgardens.com and click 'Europe'.

  4. well. you choose. loch ness has one big hil and two loops. Alpengeist is all loops and hills , so forget that one. apollo is all hills , no loops. Big bad Wolf is one little hill one big one, no loops. Griffon will scare the c**p outta you cause it is straight down .

A good one to satisfy your friends would be Escape from pompei. its one hill. its quick and its cool stuff to look at. If its warm do Roman rapids. Its a water ride. pretty fun and tame.

ok, i love coasters and i think if you HAVE to do one...... do apollo. I thought it was sucky and boring, so if you are scared of coasters its the best bet.

  5. you got to ride Griffon! it is one of the best rides ever!!! also Apollo's Chariot great air time and then Alpengeist is fun too! but one ride that is just a weeeeeee coaster is Loch Ness Monster and Wild Maus. i never rele ride any ride except the roller coasters cuzz i got to go in 4 free but only ride the roller coasters
