Buses to and from Whitby??

Hi, will be going to York in August and wondered if anyone knows the cost of the bus to Whitby and back, and if there are special rates over the weekend / the best ticket to get. I will be travelling to Whitby Fri late afternoon and back to York late Sat evening. Many thanks!
