Bush, Georgia and Russia?

So i was reading news on yahoo and...

CRAWFORD, Texas - Beyond pushing Russia to get its troops out of Georgia, President Bush and his national security advisers are contemplating how best to take Moscow to task for invading its neighbor — an act the president calls "completely unacceptable to the free nations of the world."

What is he talking about, unacceptable to the free nations of the world? I just dont understand Georgia attacked a defenseless country killing thousands, and they are looking to punish the defender? What about Bush and what he is doing, he ruined US, what about the worthless war he is running? He should not even get into this mess.

they didn't kill thousands

it was more like collateral damage

if there was bombing and shooting and tanks rolling through streets there would obviously be civilian casualties

Bush did not ruin US alone, seeing that right after 9/11 almost the entire US population supported him, like 90 percent on polls.  So it would be more correct to say that WE ruined the United States.  And this country has been in worse situations, we'll pull through

The West is angry at Russia cuz Russia is like:

ok if You give us a ceasefire we stop

(Georgia gives treaty)

F**k YOU WE NO WANT CEASEFIRE

(Russia gives demands, Georgia accedes to demands)

OK, WE STOP, NOT

(occupies Georgia territory, then lets Southern Ossetia do the looting for them)

then accuses Georgia of genocide in Southern Ossetia

Georgie boy sure is showing his hypocritical side. He may do well to remain quiet over this one. Then again, perhaps he does want to stir the water...could be another opportunity for his Haliburton buddies.

You are correct and the others are wrong.  The president of Georgia got the green light from his friend - George Bush - to launch an unprovoked attack on South Ossetia and killed thousands of people in Ossetia - both Russian Peacekeepers and Civilians who want no part of Georgia.  When Russia retaliated and destroyed the Georgian Army - George Bush felt compelled to stand by his friend and influenced the USA Media to say that the Russians were the villains.  It is just a bunch of lies similar to their hype about WMD's in Iraq etc.

The republicrats invaded iraq, overthrew the leader, and killed between 300,000 and 1,000,000 civilians. Not too much earlier, we used nato to invade and bomb 100,000 serbs.

Its like a parent smoking cigerettes, telling the child not to. Its the words - not actions - that count.

The province of Ossetia is a PART of Georgia! That being said they were going into the province to restore law and order as they have the right to do since it still belongs to them. Russia has no rights to the province regardless of what they say.

Russia is reversing back to their role prior to the collapse of the Russian empire. Every country needs to stand up to Russia or we will be in WW III within the next 10 years. McCain sees this and obviously Osama ooops I mean Obama does not!
