Im thinking it was a power surge that caused the fuse or the transistors to burn out on the power supply, your best bet would be to contact bush but it does sound like the power supply is shot, if you look up bush lcd tv power supply in google you should be able to match one against the make of your tv and it should be fairly simple to install, if you don't want to then phone a professional that is local to you to get it done
