Why do we, the American people, have to be silent over what we want, to not offend a country that is barbic, and is trying to flood us with cheap junk? To make business money? Or over the government selling us to them....

  1. China 'owns' the US since the trillion spent on Iraq war was obtained by their buying US notes. Anyway the world is a small global community now so we need to 'play well with others' for a change.  Most americans want a bargain and so usually that means they buy something made in China. They do not want to pay twice as much for a product made in USA

  2. Americans continue to by their cheap junk so I do not think many people really care. If you do not like the Chinese, do not buy their junk. There are plenty of stores that sale goods made in other nations.

  3. There is nothing like rolling over and playing dead for the chinese government, bush just did that and from what I read on here that is what citizens want.

  4. i'm sure it's economically motivated, but i don't buy the trillion dollar thing.

and who really cares about the economics of it, anyways?

if the U.S. economy tanks, so will the rest of the worlds.  who bounces back first, will be the big dog then.

as for the silence thing, i hear a lot of stuff about this.  there is very little silence.

and since when has Mr. Bush listened to the public?  that one answers itself.

  5. Hey, ever consider who owns the majority of the national debt? Oh right, the Chinese. If you want them to forgive a bit of that, since it seems impossible for the US to not deficit spend, we need to suck up a little.
