Bush/Cheney not to attend RNC due to Gustov?

How do you think this will effect the RNC if at all?

I can see the media spinning it two ways.

1) What patriots president Bush and VP Cheney are. They are so committed (this time around) to help the American People in needs

2) McCain doesn't want them at the RNC because they are so unpopular. What would these two talk about anyways.. How they worsened this country?

How do you think this will effect the RNC and its coverage?

  1. Your 2nd choice sounds good to me, Gustov or no Gustov.

  2. The liberal media is getting their instructions from Obama central as we speak.

They will NEVER paint McCain or Bush in a positive light.

  3. THEY WILL COMMENT ON THIS ONCE THEY GET THEIR TALKING POINTS FROM OBAMA.

  4. It is not just Bush and Cheney who have canceled their appearances to prepare for this storm.  Many governors have also canceled their appearances.  This is not a political issue, it is about the government doing their job to assist the people they are sworn to serve.  The media can spin it however they like, I'll be praying for the people who are affected by this natural disaster.

  5. That can only HELP the republicans...them showing up anywhere would turn the tables for the worse.

  6. They think that is a 'smart choice' to distance themselves from McCain. Alas, that will not help McCain a bit...

  7. They are admitting that the REPUBLICAN ticket is in SERIOUS trouble and is LOSING to Obama.

That's what they are admitting when Bush is not appearing.

They also admitted it when he picked a woman as VP which is ALREADY backfiring!
