I think what Bush is saying is very contradictory, I mean, the U.S has been bullying Iraq and other countries way more than Russia has been bullying Georgia, yet Bush is warning Russia against bullying Georgia.

I don't think that what Russia is doing is right, but I don't think Bush should tell Russia what do do when he's doing worse.

What do you think?

Do you agree?

  1. I think Russia is in its right to do what is doing since america did they same thing when georgi decided to break of from the USSR sout ocesia wants to break of from georgia let Russia help cause they can since the US did  n know there being hipocritical y cause their scared because their not at full strength so all the US can do is talk. Als o ur right the US has bullied alot of countrys

    Canada

    Mexico

    Iraq

    Iran

    Afghanistan

    North Korea

while all Russia is doing is reclaiming a territory which wants to rejoin the Russian federation.SO Bush is in the wrong

  2. Hotep,

The US has a since that it is their divine right to tell other nations what to do; even if it may appear to be hypocritical.  The US also has this belief that whatever they do is always good and proper.  I believe these are the remnants of the "Woodrow Wilson Doctrine".  Woodrow Wilson was a social Darwinist and it colored (excuse the pun) his perception of the world.  Wilson was quoted as saying, "Of all the races in the world, the White race is most superior, and of the White races, the English speaking are the most superior."  "Hence, it is up to the English speaking Whites to civilize the other races".  Maybe in time the old generation will finally die, and fresh new thoughts will bloom.

  3. The united state neocons are still in cold war mode. They long for U.S. to remain ontop forever like the cryptic materialist whores that they are. Georgia attacked South Ossetia first, then Georgia counterattacked. Why would Russia attack Georgia? It's at least a hundred times bigger than it?

  4. Can you elaborate on what President Bush is doing is worse?

  5. If he's determined to attack Russia if going worse, then the warning is appropriate. Otherwise, it's meaningless. Politics is about power, not ethic. When it has come to the level of making wars, nobody is ethical.
