Bush is NOT going to have a second stimulus package??

Bush has declared he doesn't want to have a second round of stimulus rebates due to the budget deficit of over 450 billion dollars starting the budget Oct 1 08 ..I wasn't for the first stimulus..All it shows is a lack of administration policy,,and more failure with a band-aid approach to incompetence..However,,several things,,We The People have had to dole out billions to banks and other lending institutions to shore them up and save them,,but that's okay,,but the pittance stimulus package( which won't save the economy),,is where Bush draws the line for spending!! I am beginning to wonder if the American people are so stupid that they can't see whats happened in America in the last eight years,,or if ANY Republicans will be re-ellected in November !! The house of cards is falling,,sadly working America is losing again !! L H

I agree with you.  People who have FINALLY realized Bush is a fool are voting for McCain!  It's incredible really.  The stimulus check was just putting a band-aid over the real problem anyway.  I can't believe he drew the line there either.  That line should have been drawn long ago..perhaps before we reached the 10 trillion dollars in debt we are in now.  Hmmm.

I am always amused by liberals who seem to forget that congress is controlled by the Dem's.  Everything that is happening is been approved by them.  When Obama says it is time for change, does that mean he wants a Rep congress.

It's funny that you say Bush is spending this money, because Congress is the only branch that can spend, so take it up with your Democratic Congress buddy.
