He's said that for years.  And we will.  The Iraqi government has not asked us to leave.  People like you have -- but not the Iraqi government.  In fact, the Iraqi government has spent a lot time in the past few years trying to get other coalition forces not to leave.  The last people on earth who want the US to leave an unstable Iraq are the Iraqi leaders.  They'd be the first to be off'ed.  And regardless of when our combat troops leave, we'll still have an American base there (the 100 years McCain is talking about).  Sheesh.

Please give a source on this information.  If the Iraqi leadership has stated publicly that they want all coalition forces to leave right now, it would be the first I ever heard of it.
