  1. Apparently, those "lessons" (according to current policy) are simply to engage in a never-ending War, chasing a mythical organization while continuing to alienate certain segments of the global society.

the true "lessons" would be to find out WHY folks wish to attack us, but that seems to take a back seat to the revenge reflex we wish to exert.

  2. He just wanted to scare Americans and pet McSame;-p

  3. Have you?

The lesson we learned is that we can't count on distance to protect us anymore.  And we can't just stand by and not get involved in world issues.

  4. The "lessons of September 11th" are:

*that the American government can, at any time it chooses, suspend and negate the Constitution

*that this current criminal regime would not blink an eye at the prospect of slaughtering thousands of Americans to further its own agenda

*and that some people in America can be cowered into a collective corner with a whisper of the word, "terrorist"

  5. You need to be proactive not reactive. You need less regulations and clearer communications.

  6. That we are not safe as long as there are people that want to threaten our way of life. Turning a blind eye to threats yielded us death at our door.

  7. lesson of 9/11 is this:

Bill Clinton turned his back to terrorists for his entire administration. We had the WTC bombed once and he did nothing. Didn't tighten border security, homeland security, nothing!

We were ignorant in thinking they wouldn't attack us on our own soil and from 1992 - 2000, Bill Clinton and the Repubilican controlled congress did NOTHING to make sure an attack like the WTC bombing would never happen again.

Bush has made sure that's not going to happen.

  8. To keep your guard up. That is why we have the phone taps and Patriot Act. They seem to be working we have not had an attack since then.

  9. We learned to have more police patrolling the airports and streets. We also learned to be more careful. what havent we done since then?

  10. Only one lesson I learnt from Bush regarding Sept 11th:-

No matter how much it looks like Saudi Arabia were involved in the attacks, let's fly them out of the country while all other planes were grounded. Then instead of waging war upon them, let's invade Iraq for no reason whatsoever.
