in making that mandate? Why wasn't it more important to capture bin Laden on September 12, 2001?

  1. maybe his dad shouldnt have bankrolled bin Laden, then there wouldnt be a problem.  That must be an awkward christmas dinner.

  2. old story mate! Petrol hike now! Thou' not concerning me, but pity those who are affected - do something! Like use public transport. Drive only when it is absolutely necessary.

  3. Why would you take anything he says to heart at this point.  He's just trying to help the Rep. party regain some momentum.

By the way, it wasn't known for sure that Bin Laden was behind the attacks until several days after, so your Sep. 12 analogy is off....but I get your point.

  4. I've looked every place I can think of and I can't find him.

  5. This is a joke, right?  Thanks for the laugh.

  6. They had to get thier ducks in a row...

After 9/11  The Bin Laden family had to get out first . that's why they had to wait a while.

Then they lost him . Then they found him at Tora Bora Mountains..Then they lost him again..

Oh well next time they may have a bit of luck...lol

  7. That's absolutely laughable. He doesn't need a mandate. That was part of his job as President; to bring to justice those that would threaten the citizens of the USA. And he failed. He should have been impeached or recalled the day after 9/11.

Just how gullible does this man think the American people are?

  8. He's still trying to make some kind of "legacy" from the ashes of his seven years in office.

You are quite right, by pulling crack troops out of Afghanistan to bolster the Iraq fiasco he let OBL get safely away into the wild country between Afghanistan and Pakistan where he remains to this day.

Roll on January 2009 and a Democrat Administration, Congress and Senate.

  9. yes

  10. My guess is that Bush will not make such a proclamation that is off the cuff. I really think its because the surge is working so well, that we are now in the position to devote more time and man power, in capturing him. Its probable that the timing for such an event is right, and Bin Laden is now more venerable and I do think he will be captured or killed.

  11. That's such a pathetic and empty statement. He's trying to save his reputation to raise his approval rates and help McCain get elected. It's so trasnparent and desperate.

  12. I have always wondered why we put so much into Iraq and not slaughtering bin laden.

  13. What a numb-skull.  I wish we can just send Bush himself into the mountains barefoot to search for Bin Laden.  He likes to play ring-around-the-rosy with the American people.

  14. Yeah, how much you wanna bet Bin laden is thought to be hiding in the sands of Iran with WMD's in his pocket.
