Business Idea (Mainly for Parents)?

Question

I'm thinking of starting an online shop selling funky kid's clothes. By funky I mean retro, punk, rock type stuff specialising in slogan t-shirts.

Would you buy things like this for your kids and is there lots of competition out there?

You'd have to find away to keep your prices down. People like that kind of stuff, but a lot of people aren't willing to spend a fortune on something that their kids will outgrow in a few months.

Not me, sweetie...  I won't use my kids as billboards or fashon statements.  ..especially slogan shirts.  I won't even get the kids a t-shirt with my "pick" for the next president on it.  I don't even listen to much music around my kids....  and before you call me a prude, I once had green hair and traveled to see Manson 4 times on his "Superstar" tour....  but I didn't have kids back then.

But thats just me...  they will probably sell like hotcakes.

Yep, I would defo buy things for my kids.  My 7 year old son is forever askin for things like that but they are so hard to get unless you are willing  to pay a fortune.
