ok im doing a business speech for a product im targeting teenagers would that be the micro market?

If your target market is 13-19 year olds, then perhaps a finer division of this would give you micro markets?  Suppose you target that group even more specifically, i.e. boys, then boys that play football, then boys that play quarterback, etc.  Is that what you mean?  A micro target might also be per location: what strategies you use for potential customers in New York might be very different from what you use in Iowa or in India, for example.  By focusing on just a micro segment of your target market at first, the idea is that it will generate enough interest and revenue to then allow marketing to a broader portion of your target market.  You build on your marketing success to open other markets.
