I work for this company in California. it is independently owned and operated. The owner is very egotitcal and very disrespectful to his employees. Anyways, We normally get paid on Fridays once a week and this week payday lands on a holiday. Does he have to pay before the holiday or does he have the ight to pay after?

Aslo, I am his office manager/ everything but installer and my hours are from 8-5pm mon-Fri. He states that it is my job to the banking everyday okay that's fine but he expects me to do it after 5pm and refuses topay for mileage and or fuel when it is completely out of my way.... What canI do to get him in trouble anonymously?

  1. I'm a business owner, not an atty...

    1. Legally, he does not have to pay before even though you'll probably be closed. (you could ask, however)

    2. Contact your state's dept of labor.

    Hope this helps
