The resort areas of Spain, in particular, have plenty of properties, both business & residential for sale due, in no small way, to massive over development.    With so many businesses for sale, therefore, it might be a good time to buy as far as price is concerned but, with so much competition, will there be sufficient custom to be successful.

There are businesses all over Spain going bust. You have your choice of buying any one of them cheaply. Not a good time to be going into business here right now.

I agree with the others.  So many people come here sadly to make there fortune and "spend more time together".  From what I have witnessed neither of these often work.  Business fail and those that do succeed require the owners to be working far more hours than they were ever working in the uk , only difference is they have to cope with the heat too!
