The Spanish holding midfielder has taken out time to admire his team’s arch-rivals who they will be facing on the upcoming weekend.
Barcelona and Real Madrid will be locking horns with one another as both the sides return their focus to the Spanish La Liga after winning their respective fixtures in the UEFA Champions League.
Barcelona won their match against the Portuguese side, Benfica, while Real Madrid were able to win against the Dutch champions, Ajax.
With both the teams being in great form, there is no doubt that the match between them is going to be exciting.
The whole world awaits El Clasico throughout the year as it is always expected to provide the world with the highest amount of entertainment.
This time, however, the derby might not have a lot of anticipation attached to it as a win for Real Madrid would only help them bridge the gap in the Spanish La Liga.
Barcelona are currently eight points above their arch-rivals, and even though it is hard to believe it, the Catalan giants have totally outplayed each and every team they have faced in La Liga, winning all the six fixtures.
Real Madrid, on the other hand, have dropped eight points and that takes them far behind their arch-rivals, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604.
The two teams are going to collide over the upcoming weekend and this is going to be Madrid’s first chance to bridge the gap between them and the league leaders.
Before the game against Los Blancos, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-Busquets-c33048 has admired the team he will be facing over the weekend.
The Spaniard stated that he is quite surprised to see at team like Madrid fall eight points behind.
Moreover, he also said that it is too early to conclude anything in the season at this point as there is still a long way to go.
While speaking about Real Madrid and El Clasico, Sergio Busquets said:
“It is surprising to see Madrid eight points behind.”
“But the League still has a long way to go and they are able to win many points in a row. Madrid are a great team and can win any game. Last year they had an impressive run, and that can be repeated.”
Barcelona are currently favourites to win the Spanish La Liga title, even if they lose the game against Real Madrid over the weekend.
