Seydou Keita joined the Chinese club, Dalian Aerbin, this summer and Sergio Busquets believes that the Malian midfielder leaving the club is a big loss for Barcelona.
Last season Barcelona lost Josep Guardiola as the Catalan coach decided to take a break from football.
Guardiola can easily be considered as one of the best coaches in the history of Barcelona, and there is no doubt that the Spanish giants will miss his presence on the sidelines.
However, with Guardiola gone, Barcelona had to move on and they decided to make Tito Vilanova the manager of the team.
Vilanova has worked under Josep Guardiola and the Spanish mentor definitely knows how things work at the Nou Camp.
One player who often gave off-the-bench appearances for Barcelona was the Malian midfielder, Seydou Keita.
Keita added a lot to the team, and even though he was not a regular starter for the Catalan side, he was used by Guardiola time and time again, and he often came in handy during crucial matches.
However, during this summer transfer window, Seydou Keita left the Catalan club for green pastures, and now he is a part of the Chinese club, Dalian Aerbin.
Since Seydou Keita is now gone, Sergio Busquets believes that Barcelona are going to miss a lot because of him.
The Malian midfielder was a strong player who could slot into any midfield positions. He could play as a holding midfielder, as a centre midfielder, and also as an attacking midfielder.
However, with Keita now gone, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 do not have a player who can play in all these positions, and doesn’t need a lot of first team appearances.
While speaking about http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-Busquets-c33048 said:
“Barca lose a lot without Keita, both on and off the pitch. He was a much-loved player who gave us a lot of physical power.”
“Another player in my position would be welcome, but either way I will keep working hard to win a place in the starting team.”
Barcelona are reportedly making a bid for Arsenal’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-Song-c4804 in order to replace the vacant spot left by the Malian star, Seydou Keita.
