Is this the greatest upset in boxing history in any weight class? Or better yet could it be the greatest upset in sports history?

Yes i say that is the greatest in boxing..... Also you younger fan may not know who don curry was he was at the time the best so they said    Lloyd Honyenghan  was a mismatch he would get knocked out even the uk fans the press all of boxing pros and X pros said the same thing.  no one gave him a chance not even to get passed the 3rd round if he did get to the 4th he did very well.

Well both hadn't lost a fight and Lloyd from the UK beat ten bells out of a very good boxer in don curry...

no matter what you say this is the best and biggest upset the history of UK boxing...



Not in the history of sport no way Man Utd came back they was getting beat 1-0 after 90mis so they added 2mins Exter time and won 2-1.

2 goals in over time in the Euro cup filn the biggest football championship..

to answer you correctly, it is one of the greatest upsets in sports history, for example, 1969 jets over colts, 1964 ali over liston, 1974 ali over foreman, 1987 leonard over hagler, 2008 giants over patriots etc.

i believe the odds were something like 90-1 against douglas, so it beat the previous highest odds (leon spinks defeating muhammad ali in '78).
