Busy Lizzie to extend victories beyond hat trick in the Grade A4 flat at Nottingham
The Grade A4 flat will be raced over 500 metres at Nottingham on Tuesday, 1st May. The prize money set for the race is £108 and will be contested by Busy Lizzie, Toker Eagle, Welshcristal, Cool Biko, Bruno Mars and Ballybrien Star.
The most promising entry for the race is Busy Lizzie, Toms View’s three-year-old black daughter out of b***h, Upward Rumble. Her last three races made her strike a hat trick as she lined up three victories one after the other.
On 31st March she won a 305 metres race at Nottingham by reaching the other end of the wire in 18.79 seconds. She led the runner up of the race, Carneys Kingdom, by 1 ¼ lengths.
Busy Lizzie’s second leg of the hat trick was in a Grade A5 500 metres flat at Nottingham. The 5/2 joint favourite of the race timed the track distance in 31.72 seconds and led the other joint favourite, Cherublue, by one and a half lengths. She completed
the trip in 31.84 seconds.
Finishing the race third behind the winner was Mill Lorenzo.
The third and final leg of the hat trick came on the 13th of April in a Grade A5 500 metres flat at Nottingham. This distance she got going for herself in 31.48 seconds as the 7/4 favourite of the race led the runner up, Curryhills Lord, by 3
¼ lengths.
He joined the winner on the other end of the wire in 31.74 seconds. Leigh Cuckoo settled third in line after racing for 31.78 seconds.
Her career start was not really impressive but she improved gradually and steadily with striking five second positions in a row. Eventually when the three-year-old did come to winning races, she won three in a row and bagged the seasonal hat trick.
Winning after staying unsuccessful for eleven races will make the under charge of E. Saville, Busy Lizzie, attach further victory strings to the hat trick.
The line-up for the race is not threatening but there are entries who have not won since a while and might just want to hit the first position tonight thus considering it to be an effortless race can be harmful for Busy Lizzie.
